It is possible to include other files in the post by uploading them as attachments. These will be displayed at the bottom of the post. It is possible to find the Attachments section as the second tab when adding or editing a blog post. In this section you can add other images that you wish to display other than the Featured Image. Drag the image into the box or click on Add File to upload a picture from your own computer or click on Choose from Library to insert a picture that is on the File Manager already.
1.1. CHANGE ORDER
In case you have uploaded more than one picture, you can reorder them easily by clicking on the three vertical dots on the bottom left corner of the preview and drag the images to your preferred order.
1.2. EDITING & ALT-TEXT
By clicking on the small arrow icon on the bottom right corner of the miniature, a menu will expand with the Edit, Replace, Remove and Alt-Text options.
By clicking on the Edit option the integrated Image Editor will open where you can modify your picture - crop it, apply filters, change brightness, among other options. Learn all about the Image Editor here!
1.2.2. REPLACE AND REMOVE
In case you want to remove the picture or replace it with another image from your File Library, you can do it here.
In this section you can add your alt-text for search engines. Please note that if your website supports different languages you can have a different Alt-Text for each language. Read more about what Alt-Text is and why is it important here!
With this feature, the editor gives you the possibility to add a download button at the end of your post.
2.1. BUTTON LABEL
In this section you can change the button label. By default, the button label is "Download".
2.2. ADD FILE
In this section you must upload the file that will be associated with the button, i.e. what the visitors will download by clicking on the button. If the file is in your computer, simply drag it into the box or click on Add File. If the file is already uploaded in the File Manager, select it from your files after clicking on Choose From Library.
3. VIDEO/HTML MODULE
In this section you can add custom HTML to the post, simply type down or paste the HTML snippet directly into the window. For example, you can use this attachment to add a video to your post - all you must do is paste the embed link from any video sharing or video hosting website of your choice.
