Step One: Adding Your Root Domain (without WWW)
**Please note: if you prefer to connect your domain so that it defaults to "www.domain.com" instead, please skip to step two.**
- From within your Cloudflare account, click on the domain you wish to connect with ClickFunnels.
- Along the top menu, select "DNS."
- Locate the A Record for your root domain (just your domain.com) and click on the X to the right of the root name.
- Cloudflare will ask if you are sure you want to delete; click "Yes."
- Under DNS Records and towards the top, select CNAME from the dropdown.
- Enter @ as the Name.
- Enter target.clickfunnels.com as the Domain Name.
- Leave it as Automatic TTL.
- Click on the Orange Cloud to turn it Grey.
- Click "Add Record."
**Please note: the cloud must be grey for this record.**
- Next, add a CNAME for "www" and point it to your root domain.
- Make sure to leave the cloud orange for this record.
- Up top in the navigation, click on Page Rules.
- Click "Create Page Rule."
- Enter your domain as "www.domain.com/*"
- Under Then the settings are: select Forwarding URL.
- Under Select Status Code click "301 - Permanent Redirect."
- For the destination url, enter is in this exact format: "https://domain.com/$1."
- Click "Save and Deploy."
**Please note: Make sure to review the images and follow this format exactly.**
Step Two: Adding Your WWW CNAME Record
**Please note: if you are doing this setup, you should have skipped step one. If you did step one instead, please skip to step three.**
- From within your Cloudflare account, click on the domain you wish to connect with ClickFunnels.
- Along the top menu, select "DNS."
- Under DNS Records and towards the top, select CNAME from the dropdown.
- Put "www" as the Name and "target.clickfunnels.com" as the Domain Name.
- Make sure to click on the Orange cloud so it turns Grey.
- Create a 2nd CNAME with @ as the Name and your domain (i.e. www.domain.com) as the Domain Name (please review image for an example).
- Leave this cloud as Orange.
- Back at the top navigation, click "Page Rules."
- Enter your domain as "domain.com/*"
- Under Then the settings are: select Forwarding URL.
- Under Select Status Code click "301 - Permanent Redirect."
- For the destination url, enter is in this exact format: "https://www.domain.com/$1."
- Click "Save and Deploy."
