Google Apps

Google Apps allows institutions /Organization /Companies to use their own domain name with the service and to customize the interface to reflect the branding of that institution.

Google Apps (FREE) are limited upto 10 email accounts each with 7Gb disk space . If you want more than 10 then you have to pay for ALL the ones that you have e.g. if you want to have 15 email addresses in total, then Total cost is 15 x Ksh.6000 .You have to Upgrade to Google Apps for Business

Google Apps for Business: It adds more storage space (25GB with 99.9% SLA) and other features

Google Apps for Education: This is offered at no cost to schools and higher education. Buy a domain name from us and we shall configure it for you for FREE. In this way, a college or university can offer the functionality of Google Apps in a package (and with a URL) that is familiar and comfortable to constituents.

How does it work?
All of the applications in Google Apps work through a web browser. Users must have a Google account and, once logged in, can access functionality for word-processing,calendaring, chat, and other tools.
